DISTINCTION BETWEEN BEGINNER AND ADVANCED LEVEL:
In order to clearly define the boundaries between the BEGINNER and ADVANCED categories, we provide below some elements that must not be included in beginner routines. If any of these elements appear, even just one, the athlete will automatically be judged in the Advanced category.
For any clarification regarding a specific move, please contact us at the responsible person’s phone number:
Silks: Neck hang, Free drops with apparatus re-grip, No hands balance elements, One arm hanging, Planks-Levers, Inversions with extended legs and arms, Flips, Roll ups
Sling: Inversions with extended legs and arms, Neck hang, Combination of more than two drops, One arm hanging, Σανίδες Planks-Levers
Hoop: Inversions with extended legs and arms, Free fall from the higher to the lower bar, One arm hanging, Toe hook, Neck hang, Heel hang, Planks-Levers
Regarding the children’s categories (from Juniors 1 and below), free drops with apparatus regrip, flips, and neck hangs are generally prohibited for safety reasons. Neck hangs are also prohibited for the Juniors 2 and Youth categories.
Additionally, for safety reasons and in compliance with similar regulations applied outside Greece, the athlete’s coach must be next to them while they are performing their routine, so that in case of a mistake there can be an immediate response.

NEW CATEGORY- Showdance, non competitive
If you're looking for an exciting and dynamic performance category that isn't competitive, then look no further than our new category, Aerial Show Dance Performance.
In Show Dance, performers will have the opportunity to showcase their aerial acrobatic skills in a non-competitive environment. This means that there won't be any judges or scores, allowing performers to focus on expressing themselves through their art and pushing their limits without the added pressure of competition.
The only rule that applies to Show Dance is that performances must be within a certain duration, which has been determined by the competition organizers. This allows for a fair and consistent performance time for all participants.
In Show Dance, performers will have the freedom to choose their own music, choreography, and costume, allowing them to truly express themselves through their art. They can choose to perform solo or in a group, and can incorporate any aerial apparatus they prefer.
While Show Dance is a non-competitive category, there will still be an audience present to cheer on the performers and appreciate their artistry. This provides a great opportunity for performers to connect with the audience and showcase their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Whether you're an experienced aerialist or just starting out, Show Dance is the perfect category for you to showcase your skills and express yourself through your art.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up for our aerial acrobatics competition and be sure to include Show Dance in your performance repertoire. The music duration of SHOW DANCE for all ages is up to 3:30 min strictly. Be sure to select Show dance in your entry form and send the music indicating that it is a Showdance! We can't wait to see what you have in store!
