Competitors perform a predefined syllabus sequence. Standardized material places the emphasis on the quality of the dancer—not on the complexity of the choreography.
Closed Syllabus Choreography Finals
Finalists take the same syllabus vocabulary and transform it into a creative competitive performance. The challenge is not to add harder figures, but to make the fundamentals musical, expressive and memorable.
