The International Kalamata DANCE CHALLENGE Production Events consists of multidisciplinary Festivals of Arts, Culture & Sports. Organized by the Greek legal Organization of Kalamata 'Dance Challenge', KDC produce with love and passion world-class Festivals and Competitions Events in DanceSport, Aerial Arts, Greek Folk and more, in the beautiful seaside Kalamata, the 'City of Dance' offering an amazing experience that can be conbined with a wonderful 'escape' dance weekend for artists, teachers and parents. The Organizing Commitee of each KDC Festival consists of important and specialized people, membres of the Organization. President: Nina Drakou
Our Festivals give artists from all over the world the opportunity to promote their work and showcase their talent...beyond limits. Beginners or advanced of all ages, can demonstrate their abilities in Kalamata 'Dance Challenge' Festivals offering rich spectacles and intense emotions to our art-loving audience . Our philosophy relies on providing creative & innovative festivals through a network of synergies, that can be a real ‘dance challenge’ for every dancelover, always ensuring a high standard of artistic quality and value for money to our participants.
The KDC Festivals welcomes thousands of dancers from all over the world , Renowned Teachers, Adjudicators, Famous Guests of each dance Community, in a great atmosphere, decoration, stylish lighting and amazing music offering plenty of extra activities (workshops & masterclasses, presentations, lectures, excursions, gifts and scholarships, guided tours, specific art projects, exhibitions etc.)
We also proudly recognize the hard work and dedication of teachers, choreographers and parents and appreciate their efforts, achievements and excellence.We carefully select our guests for each Festival, according to the work they have produced in each dance industry. We reward and honor our guests partners by offering them benefits and a wonderful hospitality.
Kalamata Dance Challenge is honored to be recognized of the Greek Ministry of Culture & Sports, the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization under the moto "Visit kalamata to dance" and looks forward to seeing you all there to show off your unique talent!
