With the decision of 8/6/2022 No. 5594 of the President of Greek Tourism Organization Mrs. Angeliki Gerekou, the GTO happily sets its auspices at the 4th KALAMATA DANCE CUP that will take place in Kalamata on 29 and 30 October 2022.

Kalamata as a location is a ‘Land for Dance’ for the International Dance Festival and a ‘City of Dance’ for the International Dance Cup. The Kalamata Dance Cup - Beyond Limits is a real Dance Challenge for Kalamata and makes the Messinian capital the ‘meeting center’ of the DanceSport Community worldwide.

Modern trends want tourists to increasingly turn to alternative forms of tourism in search of a different and specialized experience, as opposed to mass tourism. This contributes to the development of cultural tourism and more specifically of 'dance tourism' in Kalamata, a multidimensional tourist product.
