The internationally acclaimed Kalamata Dance Cup (KDC), which has established itself as a leading institution in the world of dance sports over the past six years, is making its next big move!

After a highly successful journey in Kalamata, attracting top dancers from around the globe, the festival is set to expand its presence. On May 15, 2025, KDC will be hosted in Israel, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its international journey.

It is a great honor to receive this invitation from esteemed artistic organizations in Israel. Following the exceptional organization and warm hospitality we provided at KDC last November, they have decided to create a national dance festival in tribute to Kalamata. Named ‘KDC Israel – Beyond Limits,’ this festival will carry the branding of the Kalamata Dance Cup International Dance Competition. The Artistic Directors will be the officially invited members of KDC Kalamata’s Organizing Committee. We fully support this competition, as all participants will qualify for the 7th KDC in Kalamata, which will take place on November 15-16, 2025, at the municipal venue ‘Tenta.’ Thank you for your trust!

Drawing from the expertise and experience gained through its annual festival in Kalamata, the Kalamata Dance Challenge Association is now joining forces with Israel’s dynamic dance community to deliver a high-caliber dance event. This international expansion marks the beginning of a new era for KDC and the Kalamata Dance Challenge Cultural Association, which aspires to bring Greek expertise and passion for dance to even more countries, further strengthening its global presence.
